Shady Ahmed, our favorite singer/songwriter in the whole world (apart from Sting who's very good too, but never bothered coming back to Cairo after the Pyramids fiasco and has never played at the CJC) took to the stage of the CJC for an intense performance featuring tracks off his debut album Life is Hard for Those Who Dream. He even had a band with him. After getting the crowd all emotional with his heartfelt lyrics, funk band Deja'vu leapt in whipping everyone into a rhythm and blues filled high. Another awesome night at the Cairo Jazz Club!
