We take photos at parties and put them on the Internet. That’s it in a nutshell. We started doing this right around the time we invented the internet.*

From the hottest parties to the biggest openings, from highbrow cultural events to lowbrow shenanigans, the CairoZoom cameras are always present and always ready to catch Cairo society in action

Launched in February 2010, CairoZoom was the first website of its kind in Egypt. In one fell click we changed the way the parties and events are captured and the way the people interact and engage with photos.

We vetoed traditional posing and preening so often seen on the pages of Cairo’s society photo-magazines, and our cutting-edge photographers set about capturing the party people actually partying! The good, the brash and the fabulous… our cameras never miss a beat! At first, we came in for a lot of slack, there was uproar and urgent requests for photos to be removed. But hey, a little controversy never hurt anyone. Soon enough, the party-set couldn’t get enough, falling over themselves to get caught by CairoZoom.

Within a matter of months, CairoZoom became and remains, Egypt’s favourite party photo site. So, have you been caught?
